Upward Dog Rescue saved Q-Bert from certain death on January 22, 2013 from the very overcrowded San Bernardino City Shelter. He has terrible battle scars on his precious little face, the longest nails we've seen, and his teeth are in horrible shape and many will need to be extracted.  If you've ever had a toothache, imagine how much pain 4 pound Qbert is in.

Despite this, he is happy and friendly and just wants to love up on you. Our veterinarian noticed some crackling in his lungs this afternoon and said chest X-rays are necessary to determine if we can even do a dental and neuter surgery on him.  He received no shots at the shelter so we will be covering the costs of all vaccines too.

The costs of his chest X-rays, dental work, neuter surgery, vaccines and microchip will exceed $500. If he has pneumonia and needs hospitalization it will be even more expensive. Can you please help us so that we can continue saving dogs We would like to raise at least $400 to offset Q-Bert's veterinary care.  Thank you for caring about little overlooked Chihuahuas like Q-Bert. We cannot do our lifesaving work without YOU!
