Fund Raising Script

Smokey is a 7 year old mastiff mix. He was an owner surrender and has been sitting in a foster home for close to a year. 

While in foster, Smokey acquired urethral stones, which blocked his ability to urinate. His foster mom wasted no time in getting him to the vet.

Unfortunately while at the vet, his bladder burst and he required emergency surgery, which was performed successfully. Smokey's foster mom feels this genuinely kind dog was worth saving, and put up a $1000.00 of her own money.  His bill afterward $3400.00.

We are asking for any donation (no matter how small) to help pay the cost of his surgery and treatment. All donations will be used toward the bill which Smokey's foster mom is now faced to pay. She found the kindness in her heart to invest in his well being - hopefully we can find some more animal lovers who would pitch in and do the same for Smokey.

Smokey is a very sweet older dog who loves tennis balls, being brushed and loved on.  When it's time for feeding, he lays in the kitchen and won't budge (hard to budge a 190 lb dog) until he is fed.  But boy can he move when there is a cat around!  He really deserves a chance to be in good health, in a nice home with someone that will keep him and take good care of him.

We have partnered with Canine Coalition in AZ should you need a tax deductible donation.  Once Smokey is cleared of all his health issues, he will also be listed for adoption through Canine Coalition.
